We Go Above and Beyond For Your Comfort
Meredith-Clark Funeral Home is a family-owned and operated funeral provider in our area, and you can tell the difference family ownership makes when you meet us. We want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to make your family as comfortable as possible throughout the planning process.
Towards that end, for three decades, we have employed some very special staff members – our grief therapy dogs – or canine grief counselors, as we call them. Research consistently shows that animals can play an important role in the healing process after a loss. Dogs – and golden retrievers in particular – have a knack for detecting human emotion.
Our current Canine Grief Counselors, Bailey and Bella – and their predecessors before them – have been offering love and comfort to the families we serve for decades. At the request of families, they have attended graveside services, slept in laps while arrangements were being made, and even received thank you cards.
Bailey and Bella are always here for you when you need a little comfort, and you can usually find them playing in our yard or sleeping in our hallways. We invite you to stop by any time to meet them.
