Zoey Jayne Anderson, age 14, passed away all too soon on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Nashville. Zoey was born to her parents, Robert and AmberDawn Anderson on October 7, 2009 in Bloomington. She was an 8th grade student at Brown County Middle School.
Zoey was known to her friends, family, and teachers as an outgoing, bubbly, and energetic girl. She was an excellent student who enjoyed drawing, painting and working with clay. She enjoyed playing video games with her brother, Aydan and loved hanging out with her mommy while baking cookies together. She also enjoyed their “spa days” where they would get their hair and nails done together. Zoey’s true passion was her love of all animals and a dream of becoming a Veterinarian.
Zoey will be missed by her mother, AmberDawn Anderson of Nashville; father, Robert Anderson of Manitoba, Canada; brother, Aydan Anderson of Nashville; maternal grandparents, Mary and Carl Dennin of Nashville; aunt, Nikki (Paul) Mullis of Brown County.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Marie Anderson.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville.
