Victor C. Brown

Victor C. ‘Vic’ Brown, age 65 passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, December 25, 2021 at his daughter’s home in Morgantown. He was resident of Franklin.

Vic was born January 27, 1956 in Oklahoma, to his parents, the late Victor C. and Marilyn (Miller) Brown Sr. He was a 1974 graduate of Greenwood High School and went on to serve as Airman with the United States Airforce. Vic worked for over 25 years in the swimming pool industry and later worked for Dreyer & Reinhold Car Dealership in Greenwood as a Car Salesman.

Vic was an avid outdoorsman who loved to bow hunt. Vic was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying model planes with his brothers. He also enjoyed listening to A Prairie Home Companion radio show on NPR and watching old western movies. Vic loved spending time with his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his children, Schyuler (wife, Allie) Brown and Lillian Brown, both of Morgantown; grandson, Soren Brown of Morgantown; and siblings, Cindy Brown of Greenwood and Mark Brown of Camby.  

Vic was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jeff and Tim Brown.

In keeping with Vic’s wishes, he will be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
