Timothy Branham Obituary

Timothy E. ‘Tim’ Branham, age 64 passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at his home in Gosport. He was a former resident of Martinsville.

Tim was born August 11, 1958 in Beech Grove, to his parents James R. ‘Jim’ and Carolyn M. (Roller) Branham. Tim was a 1977 graduate of Southport High School. At the age of 16, he started working as an Environment Service Tech for St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove for 15 years. In 1990, he went to work at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis starting in Environmental Services and retiring as a Maintenance Tech in 2017, after 28 years of service. After retirement, he went to work for Putnam County Hospital as a Maintenance Tech where he was still employed.

Tim’s pride and joy was his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered for the special love that he had for each of his daughters and never left without a kiss goodbye and telling them how much he loved them. Tim enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and tending to his yard & vegetable garden. It was important to Tim that his grandchildren learned how to hunt, fish and to live off the land. He also enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, playing his guitar and was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs football team. Tim had a great sense of humor, and never met a stranger. He was always   cutting up and making his family and friends laugh.

Tim is survived by his mother, Carolyn Branham of Franklin; daughters, Jessica Branham of Camby, Amanda (Nick) Cramer & Chelsea (Jerry) Bertelsen both of Martinsville and Samantha Browning of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Isaiah (Madison), Jayven, Natallia, Jaycie, MacKenzie, Cayson, Elizabeth, Eli, Kayden, Abigail, Aubrey, Mason, Madison, Hailey & Braydon; great grandchildren, Riley & Emerson; siblings, Connie Ray of Franklin, Philip Branham & John (Pam) Branham both of Gosport & Travis Branham of Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Branham; and a daughter, Heather Case.
