Terry W. Waltz

Terry W. Waltz, age 62 passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 10, 2021 at his home in Trafalgar.

He was born January 2, 1959 in Franklin to his parents, the late Schearrel C. and Shirley G. (Richardson) Waltz. Terry was a 1978 graduate of Indian Creek High School and went on to retire in 2021 from Indian Creek Middle School, where he worked as a Custodian for over 44 years.

Terry was a longtime member of the Samaria Christian Church in Trafalgar. He enjoyed playing volleyball and tending to his yard. Terry was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University Men’s Basketball. He always looked forward to filling out his tournament picks for the NCAA Tournament every year.

Terry is survived by aunts, Rheta (Herb) Cook and Margaret Waltz, both of Trafalgar; uncles, Dale, Herschell and Dwight Waltz, all of Trafalgar; and several cousins.

The Rev. Burt Brock will conduct a funeral service on Monday at 7 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Monday. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.   

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Terry W. Waltz Memorial Fund in care of Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson USC. Checks should be made out to the NHJ United School Corporation and sent to: 802 South Indian Creek Drive Trafalgar, IN 46181.
