Terry Monroe Obituary

Terry L. Monroe, age 56, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31st 2020 at her daughters’ home in Nashville, Indiana.

She was born in Newport, Arkansas on May 26th of 1964 to Marie Wilson. Terry received her GED and then earned her accounting degree from Foothills Vocational Technical School. She married Bobby Monroe on January 1, 1990.

Terry lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; studying her Bible, chatting with friends and family, dinning at her favorite Mexican restaurant, spending time with her children and playing with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Wilson; sister, Joann Wilson; and husband, Bobby Monroe.

She is survived by one brother, Tony F. Wilson; four daughters, Lisa Huffman (Matthew), Michelle Hawkins (Buddy), Sandra Collier (Michael) and Ashley Lemmer Toric; and one son Larry Monroe (Kasi), and seven grandchildren.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date in Newport, Arkansas. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown, Indiana.
