Teresa G. ‘Terry’ (Miller) Roberts, age 68 passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, December 25, 2021 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was a resident of Brown County.
Terry was born November 10, 1953 in Nashville, to her parents, Thomas and Lorna (Leggins) Miller. She was a 1972 graduate of Brown County High School. Terry was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and homemaker.
Terry was a 60-year member of the Cottonwood Christian Church in Brown County, where she enjoyed playing her guitar and singing with her daughters through the years. She enjoyed quilting, rock collecting and camping with her husband. Terry also enjoyed studying her Bible and reading inspirational & mystery novels. She will be remembered for her love of family, especially her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Grammy.
Terry is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John W. Roberts, whom she married on May 26, 1972 in Brown County. She is also survived by her mother, Lorna Miller of Brown County; children, Kristy (Joe) Rainwater of Martinsville, Michelle (Adam) Hobbs of Nashville and Candy (Zac) Miller of Whiteland; siblings, Mary (William) Pierce of Franklin, Irene Sanders of Greenwood, Melissa (Jeff) Taylor of Edinburgh, Joy (Paul) Elkins of Needham, Amanda Lang of Columbus, David Miller and Tommy (Nikki) Miller, both of Brown County; and thirteen grandchildren: Lily, Olivia, Pearl, Amelia, Claire, Barrett and Violet Rainwater, Bella, Jack and Thad Hobbs and Logan (Anna), Gretchen and Zane Miller.
Terry was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Miller; and a brother-in-law, Larry Sanders.
The Rev. Darrel Miller will conduct a funeral service at noon on Thursday at the Cottonwood Christian Church: 2523 W. Cottonwood Road in Brown County. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Brown County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
