Sara L. Cantrell

Sara L. Cantrell, age 67, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 17, 2021 at her home in Franklin.

She was born September 7, 1953 in Franklin, to her parents, the late Ira Lee and Thelma (Truman) Cantrell. Sara was a 1971 graduate of Indian Creek High School and went to attend Franklin College. She was a retired Hair Stylist and Barber.

Sara was an avid reader and enjoyed caring for her kittens and many other animals through the years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her son, David.

Sara is survived by her son, David Cantrell; sisters, Brenda Cantrell and Ellen (Phillip) Hubbs; niece, Ashley Hubbs; nephews, Ryan Hubbs, Justin Hubbs, Devon Hubbs and Gary Scudder III.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jerry Wayne Cantrell.

The Rev. Vern Snyder will conduct a funeral service on Friday at 1 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from noon until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at First Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin.
