Russell "Russ" Dewey Morgan

Russell “Russ” Dewey Morgan, age 66 passed away peacefully with his loving sister by his side on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Morgantown Health Care-Inn. He was a resident of Morgantown and former resident of Greenwood.

Russ was born August 21, 1954, in Indianapolis, to his parents, the late William “Bob” R.  and Dorothea “Dot” M. (Wrennick) Morgan. He worked as an Independent Contractor, laying carpet, installing tile and doing upholstery.

Russ loved to spend times in the outdoors by fishing. He loved to fish at Lake Monroe, on family lakes as well as off the coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. Russ also enjoyed sitting with friends and family all while sipping on a hot cup of coffee.

He will be missed by his sister Donna and her husband Dick, Cochran of Morgantown as well as several nieces and nephews and friends.

Russ was preceded in death by his father Bob in 2005, mother Dot in 2019, brother Bob in 2015, and his daughter Amanda in 2008.

A private graveside inurnment will take place at Concordia Cemetery in Indianapolis at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
