Roger L. Mills

Roger L. Mills, age 69 passed away peacefully on Monday morning, September 26, 2022 at Rosegate Village in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis.

Roger was born August 13, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio, to his parents, the late James and Goldie (Litton) Norman.

He retired in 2018 as the owner and operator of T&R Enterprises in Indianapolis after 20 years of service. Prior to that, Roger worked for Atkinson Enterprises and BFI, both of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death on May 13, 2011 by his loving wife of 30 years, Terry (Jones) Mills. Roger was also preceded in death by siblings, Bonnie Dixon and Jimmy Norman.

He is survived by his companion, Sherry Hall of Linton; sons, Brad (Bree) Hobbs of Whiteland, Doug Hobbs of Jasonville and Brian (Rebecca) Hobbs of Anderson, South Carolina; sister, Wilma Toothman of North Vernon; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Roger loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, companion Sherry and her dog Gracie.

The Rev. Kyle Siegfred will conduct a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, September 30th at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Morgantown, 2717 S. Morgantown Road. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at the church. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
