Robert ‘Mark’ Adams, age 59, passed away all too soon on Saturday morning, August 5, 2023 at his home in Martinsville.
Mark was born November 2, 1963 in Franklin, to his parents, Robert and Darlene (Sokol) Adams. He was a 1982 graduate of Indian Creek High School and went on to earn a degree in Business Administration from Indiana Tech in 2008. Mark was the owner and operator of RM Adams Distribution in Martinsville.
He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and playing golf. Mark was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Team. Mark will be remembered for his love of family, friends and his faith. He will also be remembered for his big smile and positive attitude. Mark loved his family dearly and enjoyed watching his children grow up and always there cheering them on at sporting events.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, April M. (Martin) Adams, whom he married on June 4, 1994 in Martinsville. He is also survived by his mother, Darlene Adams of Morgantown; father, Robert Adams of Edinburgh; children, Emily (Matt Cornett) Adams of Westport, Chris Adams & Ryan Adams, both of Martinsville; brother, Mike (Julie) Adams of Nashville; and grandchildren, Zane Adams and Paisley Cornett.
A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held on Friday evening from 4-7 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. The Rev. Burt Brock will conduct a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning at Zion Hill Cemetery located at the corner of Cramer Road and Paragon Road in Martinsville.
