Robert M. ‘Bob’ Marsh, age 67 passed away peacefully at his home in Brown County on Saturday afternoon, August 28, 2021. He was a former resident of Greenwood.
Bob was born October 8, 1953 in Beech Grove. He was a 1972 graduate of Cherry Hill High School in Detroit, Michigan. He retired in 2017 after working 48 years as a Master Carpenter, specializing in interior trim.
Bob enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, fishing, keeping up on current events and tending to his yard. He was known by his family and friends as a ‘Motorhead’. He was very mechanically inclined, was an avid fan of Motor Trend TV and enjoyed caring for his 1950 Mercury.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Vicki A. (Seal) Marsh; whom he married on October 8, 1988 in Greenwood. He is also survived by his siblings, Sandra (Steve) Veriggni of Florida, Linda (Gary) Moran of Texas and Keith Marsh of Greenwood; several nieces and nephews; and his golden retriever, Jessie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard L. and Dorothy (McGee) Marsh; and a step son, Jason Huehls.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
