Richard Todd Hamilton

Richard Todd Hamilton, age 58 passed away Monday morning, November 18, 2019 at Franklin Meadows American Senior Community.  He was a resident of Morgantown.

Richard was born October 2, 1961 in Martinsville and was a 1980 graduate of Indian Creek High School.  He went on to proudly serve as a Private in the United States Army from 1980 to 1981.

Richard enjoyed talking to people, golfing, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.  He was called as an Evangelist for God after his healing some years ago.  Richard was passionate about his relationship with God and teaching the Bible to anyone who would listen.

Richard was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local #135 and worked in the past as a truck driver for USF Holland. He was also a longtime member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church in Brown County.

Richard is survived by his mother, Kitty L. Sichting of Morgantown; children: Jessica Elaine (Kevin) Blackwell of Trafalgar, Brandon Todd Hamilton of Indianapolis and Joseph Eugene Hamilton of Franklin; siblings, Kevin Hamilton of Morgantown, Gary (Mary) Hamilton of Franklin and Mark (Becca) Hamilton of Ellettsville; step-sister, Mandi (Charlie) Brock of Morgantown; step-brother, Matt (Felicia) Sichting of Hollywood, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Donald Hamilton.

Services are pending with Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
