Rebecca A. (Adkins) Hendley, age 44 passed away on Saturday afternoon, November 11, 2023 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Nineveh.
Rebecca was born May 25, 1979 in Indianapolis. She was a 1997 graduate of Indian Creek High School. Rebecca was working as a Forklift Operator for Sonoco Flexible Packaging Company in Edinburgh for the last 8 years.
Rebecca enjoyed attending Renaissance Fairs and music concerts. She also enjoyed crafting, crocheting, camping and collecting miniature camping memorabilia. Rebecca was a fan of Guns N’ Roses & Alice In Chains bands. She will be remembered for her love of family and caring for her dogs, Bane, Phoenix & Revin.
Rebecca is survived by her loving daughter, Lexus Hendley of Morgantown; fiancé, Kyle Stephenson of Nineveh; mother, Burnetta Skaggs of Nineveh; father, Timothy Adkins of Indianapolis; siblings, Tim (Heather) Adkins of Morgantown, Benjamin Adkins & Nathan Adkins both of Indianapolis, Andrew Adkins of Greenfield, Michael Skaggs & Robert Skaggs both of Nineveh; nephew, Dayton Adkins; nieces, Paige & Isabella Adkins.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Allen Skaggs.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends and family may call from 5 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
