Randall Precup Obituary

Randall K. “Randy” Precup, age 76 passed away on Saturday, October 31st at Franciscan St. Francis Hospice in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Trafalgar and former 30 year resident of Lamb Lake.

Randy was born on September 17, 1944 in Anderson to his parents the late Raymond and Jane (Evans) Precup. He was a 1962 graduate of Anderson Highland High School and went on to attend Indiana University, Franklin College and graduated from Ball State in 1974 with an Accounting Degree. Randy married the love of his life, Lana Messick on September 3, 1966 in Anderson. She lovingly survives after 54 devoted years of marriage.

He worked in the accounting department for GM and Rolls Royce for 37 years. In his free time, Randy enjoyed watching World War II movies and spending time in the outdoors, taking in “God’s Country.” Most of all, Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be missed by his wife, Lana, children: Shannon (Ray) Poynter of Trafalgar and Sean Precup of Plainfield, grandchildren: Andrew Poynter, Allyson (Shane) Abel and Evan Poynter and brother Barton Precup.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and sister Janay Rice.

The Rev. Burt Brock will conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
