Patty Lou Tarter

“OH KID…” Patty Lou Tarter, born February 8, 1934 and 86 years old, left for her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. She was a resident of Morgantown. Patty was looking forward to seeing Jesus and meeting her mother on the front porch of their new cabin.  She dedicated her life to taking special care of her mom; patiently and cheerfully caring for Isabella all the days of her life.

Patty was a dedicated Colts fan who would respectfully boot you out of her apartment before game time.  She loved Elvis Presley and gospel music.  Patty planted flowers in the Spring and wore their bright colors all year long.

Patty fell in love with Jesus and was baptized into The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in 1964.  If the church doors were open, she was there.

Her mother, Isabella McIntyre and her sister, Shirley Brannon went on home before her.  She leaves behind her nephew, Jack Brannon and a multitude of church brothers and sisters who will miss her.

Patty was blessed to have her very own guardian who protected and prepared her for her journey home. THANK YOU and God bless you for your loving care of our dear sister Patty Lou.

Bro. Loral Richardson will conduct a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 23 at Greenwood Cemetery, 620 W. Main Street in Greenwood. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patty may be sent to The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, 2896 West Cottonwood Drive, Morgantown, IN. 46160 in care of Bryan Neal.
