Nancy B. (Richardson) Morris, age 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, December 31, 2020 at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. She was a resident of Nashville and a former longtime resident of Wichita, Kansas.
Nancy was born on May 18, 1933 in a Train Depot in Dewitt, Nebraska, to her parents, Feldon D. and Mary Ann (Payne) Richardson. She was a graduate of North High School in Omaha, Nebraska and went on to own and operate her own Custom Drapery business in Wichita, Kansas for several years. Nancy was a faithful witness of Jehovah for over 65 years and enjoyed spreading the good news of God’s Kingdom with others. She also donated her time and talents in the building of many Kingdom Halls alongside her husband. She loved the association of the many brothers and sisters she met through the years.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and would show her love through her sewing and singing at weddings and funerals and will always be remembered for the love she put in her baking for others especially her homemade breads and brownies.
She is survived by her children, Patrice (Robert) Orozco of Nashville and Brad (Jacci) Morris of Wichita; six grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death on November 30, 2012 by her loving husband of 60 years, Clifford L. Morris, whom she married on March 28, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Shirley Jackley, Jack & Jim Richardson.
In keeping with Nancy’s wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held via zoom at 3 p.m. EST (2 p.m. CST) on Saturday, January 16th Login information will be announced closer to the service date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
