Marion M. Richhart

Marion M. Richhart, age 85 passed away on Sunday morning, January 16, 2022 at his home in Brown County.

He was born August 12, 1936 in Brown County, to his parents, the late Isaac Justus and Mary (Dine) Richhart. Marion was a 1954 graduate of Helmsburg High School and went on to serve as a Specialist 4 with the Headquarters Detachment 100th Ordnance Battalion of the United States Army. He retired in 2000 after 30 years of service at Arvin Industries in Franklin.

Marion attended the Spearsville Church of Christ in Brown County. He enjoyed the outdoors by fishing, planting trees and tending to his vegetable & flower gardens. Marion also enjoyed caring for his dogs, Molly and Tyson.

He is survived by his brother, Paul (Diane) Richhart of Trafalgar; several nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Marion was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, James, Earl, Leroy & Forrest Richhart, and Pansy Cullum.

A visitation will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Spearsville Church of Christ, 9330 Spearsville Road in Brown County. A graveside service with military honors presented by the Brown County Honor Guard will follow at 11 a.m. at the Spearsville Church of Christ Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center.
