Linda Sue (Tucker) Andrews

Linda Sue (Tucker) Andrews, age 63 passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, October 9, 2021 at her son’s home in Martinsville. She was formerly a resident of Franklin.

Linda was born December 5, 1957, in Franklin, to her parents, the late Joseph Edward and Vena Estel (Bray) Tucker.  She married Craig Allen Andrews on November 7, 1975 in Morgantown and together they began a family and a life together.  He preceded her in death on June 20, 2021 after 46 loving years of marriage.

Linda earned her Manager’s Degree from Florida State University in 1991 and completed her certification in Dietary Management in 1992. Since 2003, she worked as a Dietary Manager for Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Franklin. She was loved by the residents at Morning Pointe and will be greatly missed.

Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her family, and her yorkie Sammy. She collected California Raisins and was a fan of Tony Stewart.

Most of all, Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Linda will be missed by her sons: Craig Allen (Sheila) Andrews Jr. of Martinsville and Frank Alvin (Margo) Andrews II of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Codie, Jason, Jacob, Zayne and Zayle Andrews; great-grandchildren: Laylah Andrews and Ella Villareal; and siblings: Joseph Wayne (Doris) Tucker of South Carolina, Teresa (Robert) Gonterman, Sheila (Charlie) Hildebrand, Diane (Harry) Gill, Tonie M. (Matthew) Whestine, Vena E. Tucker II (Richard Hancock), Terry Wayne Tucker and Janet (Kevin) Smith all of Franklin; She will also be missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her yorkie, Sammy.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Craig Allen Andrews Sr. and infant sister Angela “Angel” Ann.

A Celebration of Their Lives Service will be held for Linda and Craig at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 15th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
