Kimberly J. ‘Kim’ (Phipps) Hendrix, age 61 passed away peacefully on Monday morning, April 25, 2022. She was a resident of Bloomington.
Kim was born September 27, 1960 in Bloomington. She was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and sister.
Kim loved to spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed visiting Cascades Park in Bloomington and hanging out with her daughter, Brandy and sister, Deborah, who was her partners in crime and best friends. Kim enjoyed yard sales, and watching the Lifetime and Hallmark Channels on television.
She is survived by her children, Michele (Christopher) Ratzburg of Nashville, Brandy Burkhart and Harry Fluharty Jr., both of Bloomington; siblings, Deborah Phipps and Dave Phipps, both of Bloomington; and eleven grandchildren.
Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Doris J. (Salyers) Mackey; brother, Jeff Phipps; and a granddaughter, Brittany Lee Ratzburg.
In keeping with Kim’s wishes, she will be cremated and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
