Keith Walker

Keith Walker, age 85 passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 11, 2023 at his home in Brown County.

Keith was born on April 2, 1937 in Brown County, to his parents, the late Lester and Vera (Wayman) Walker. He retired from Lucent Technologies in 1992, where he worked as an Installer for over 37 years.

Keith was preceded in death on January 9, 2019 by his loving wife of 60 years, Marline (Doty) Walker, whom he married on June 16, 1958 in Franklin. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Merrill Walker.

He is survived by his son, David (Judy) Walker of Brown County; grandchildren, Samantha Walker of Brown County, Christina Newlin of Brown County, Amy Pauley of Franklin and Wayne Walker of Tennessee; and several great & great-great grandchildren.

Keith attended Sprunica Baptist Church in Brown County. He enjoyed horseback riding with his wife and traveling out west to trail ride in Missouri and attend Frontier Days in Wyoming. Keith also enjoyed tending to his yard, vegetable garden and working his work horses.

The Rev. Larry Stafford will conduct a funeral service on Friday at 10 a.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
