Joseph E. Richardson

Joseph E. “Joe” Richardson, age 48 passed away all too soon on Monday evening, October 29, 2023 at the Waters of Batesville. He was a resident of Brown County.

Joe was born April 24, 1975 in Columbus to his parents, Dean E. and Maggie B. (Stringer) Richardson. He attended Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis. Joe worked construction most of his life.

He enjoyed riding his scooter, fishing and carpentry. Joe also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts.

Joe is survived by his mother, Maggie B. Richardson of Columbus; brother, Michael (Leslie) Richardson of Columbus; stepchildren, Joshua Powers and Brittany Powers both of Columbus; nieces, Hanna McBride of Columbus, MaKenzie & Maggie Richardson both of Indianapolis; nephew; Joshua Richardson of Waldron; great niece, Kora; and great nephews, Elias & Morgan.    

He was preceded in death by his father, Dean E. Richardson.

In keeping with Joe’s wishes, he will be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
