I just saw this and am in shock. John was such an amazing person and let me say I've never had a better tasting cheese cake then then his! He worked with my daughter, Cassie that he renamed Casserole, at Corner Stone Inn. He was so good with her and her disability. He even worked on teaching her how to cook eggs, and other basics that I have failed to do.
(I hate cooking FYI). I don't want to tell Cassie that he has passed, but she will see the positive side that he is healed and getting to see others who have passed. Such a gem lost to soon. Jill mom of the Casserole kid ❤️

I worked with John at the Columbus Holiday Inn years ago.  Sorry to hear of his passing. Last time I saw him was at Brown County State Park while at a cousin reunion a few years ago. Condolences to Ben

I miss my friend John already. John was my Best Man in my wedding. Kind of a last minute thing and missing two witnesses.   My youngest son, Aaron was there and my friend John apron and all.  He called me his "work wife" and made days spent in his company a blessing.  My heart breaks for you Ben as you feel your way through the days ahead. Life was richer for having been cared for by John and I know he is baking his best cake ever as I pen this. God Bless uou John!  God bless you Ben. Always, Karin
