John Paul Allison II, age 31, passed away all too soon on Saturday evening, December 7, 2019. He was a resident of Nashville.
John was born April 9, 1988 in Franklin. He was a 2006 graduate of Brown County High School. He was employed with Rumpke in Columbus since 2016. It meant a great deal to him because he was being given a great opportunity to be successful.
John’s reason for being was his son, Jai. He & his son loved to experience the outdoors, fishing, being in the woods, 4-wheeling and working on cars. John enjoyed spending time with family and friends and looked forward to Sundays when family would gather. His closest friends remember him for his willingness to give to and help others.
John is survived by his son, Jai Paul Allison; parents, Patty Wilson of Indianapolis and Ora W. Allison of Nashville; brother, Andrew Jasper of Nashville; maternal grandmother, Anne Wynn of Indianapolis, paternal grandmother, Faye Allison of Nashville; nephew, Austen Jasper; the mother of his son, Jessica Myers of Nashville and many loving aunts, uncles & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Jerry Wynn Sr. & Poppy Saldana; paternal grandfather, John P. Allison & an uncle, Tony Allison.
Brother Mark Myers will conduct a Celebration of John’s life on Thursday, Dec. 19th at 7 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time.
