Jesse A. Bessire, age 25 passed away all too soon on Thursday afternoon, September 24, 2020. He was a resident of Brown County.
Jesse was born April 26, 1995 in Indianapolis, to his parents, John M. “Jack” and Barbara J. (Neumeier) Bessire. He was a 2013 graduate of Brown County High School and went on to study Forestry at Purdue University.
Jesse was baptized as a child at the Cottonwood Christian Church in Brown County and more recently attended the Brown County Community Church in Helmsburg.
Jesse was a very talented carpenter, mason and mechanic. He could build, invent or fix just about anything. He was also a very talented musician playing the guitar, drums and the French horn. His true calling was his love of the outdoors and spending time in his family’s woods and making trails. He also enjoyed the outdoors by fishing and spending time with his dog, Carmen. Jesse enjoyed working on vehicles, especially his 1969 Chevy Pickup and reading books.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Barbara Bessire of Brown County; sister, Rachel (fiancé, Noah Guinn) Bessire; and several aunts, uncles and cousins
The Rev. Ben Swopes will conduct a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
