Jeffrey L. ‘Jeff’ Hall, age 64, passed away all too soon on Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021 at his home in Brown County.
Jeff was born on February 21, 1957 in Indianapolis. He attended Lawrence North High School and went on to serve as a Specialist 4 with the Company B 27th Maintenance Battalion of the United States Army. Jeff also served with the Indiana National Guard. He retired in 2020 as the Director of Maintenance for Altenheim Senior Living in Indianapolis after six years of service. Prior to that, he held the same position for Stoops Freightliner in Indianapolis for eleven years.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia A. (Gates) Hall, whom he married on April 10, 1981 in Lawrence, Indiana. He is also survived by his children, Cheyenne (husband, Matt) Mappes of Brown County and Jedidiah (wife, Sara) Hall of Mooresville; grandchildren, Layla, Berkley, Easton, Rosalie and Elias.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, James Hall and Betty (Aker) Maloney.
Jeff enjoyed working on race cars, camping, fishing and hunting deer and squirrel. He was a fan of Indy Car, Formula One and NASCAR, with his favorite drivers being Jeff Gordon and Michael Schumacher. Jeff loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In keeping with Jeff’s wishes, he will be cremated and a Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
