Jamie Denise (Shepherd) Sizemore

Jamie “Denise” (Shepherd) Sizemore, age 52 passed away all too soon on Tuesday evening, August 22, 2023 at her home in Edinburgh.

Denise was born October 6, 1970 in Franklin to her parents, Robert C. and Wanda Faye (Caldwell) Shepherd. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Denise is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Randy Wayne Sizemore of Edinburgh; parents, Robert & Wanda Shepherd of Taylorsville; children, Lance Coy (Cassie Bryant) Shepherd of Edinburgh,  Bryan Wayne Lambert of Franklin, Randi Breanne Sizemore of Mooresville, Kristian (Jacob Whaley) Sizemore of Edinburgh & Uriah Nathaniel (Shayna Johnson) Sizemore-Shepherd of Columbus; siblings, Brian Burton of Edinburgh, Dee Burton of Edinburgh, Kim Wall of Hope, Linda James of Taylorsville & Arthur Burton of Edinburgh; seven grandchildren and one grandson on the way.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert William Shepherd and Raymond Burton.

Denise was a country girl at heart who enjoyed fishing, hunting, canoeing and four wheeling. She also enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flower gardens. She loved the color purple and her favorite flower was purple tiger lilies.

The Rev. Walter Fletcher will conduct a funeral service on Monday at 7 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. 

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Denise to the Humane Society of Johnson County, 3827 N. Graham Road, Franklin, IN 46131.
