Erika E. (Zander) Schultz

Erika E. (Zander) Schultz, age 78, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 21, 2020 at Homeview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Franklin.  She was a resident of Brown County.

Erika was born September 25, 1941 in Berlin, Germany, to her parents, the late Wilhelm and Elizabeth (Kuschel) Zander. She attended high school in Germany and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Indianapolis.

Erika was a homemaker and previously worked as a Lab Technician for the National Cancer Institute in Fredrick, Maryland. She was a member of the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Indianapolis. Erika enjoyed caring for her dog Heidi, cat Precious, rabbit Fluff, Macaw Tara and her chickens. She also enjoyed watching tennis on television and sitting on her deck enjoying the view of Lake LaSalle.

She is survived by her companion of ten years, Pete Lewis of Brown County; and many friends whom she loved dearly.

A private family graveside service will be held at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
