Edward "Eddie" J. Zirnheld Jr.

Edward “Eddie” Zirnheld Jr., age 67, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, February 15, 2020 at the Autumn Hills Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Bloomington.  He was a resident of Nashville.

Eddie was born November 14, 1952, in Buffalo, New York, to his parents, the late Edward “Ed” and Lucille (Holderith) Zirnheld Sr. He was a 1970 graduate of Cathedral High School and went on to earn a degree from Purdue University in Electrical Engineering. He married Patricia “Dianne” Hanft on February 5, 2005 in Indianapolis.  She survives after 15 loving years of marriage.

Eddie worked as a Supervisor for Vertical Pumps-Grundfos in Indianapolis for 17 years. He was a member of the St. Agnes Parish in Nashville and former member of the St. Malachy Parish in Brownsburg and St. Michael’s Parish in Indianapolis.

He enjoyed working on his ’57 Chevy and watching Andy Griffith and old Western re-runs. Most of all Eddie loved spending time with his family.

He will be missed by his wife Dianne of Nashville, daughters: Anita (Matt) Lindsey of Peyton, Colorado, Amanda (Jeff) Dill of Fillmore, Angie (Ryan) Westerhold of Whiteland, Andrea (Jason) Bourne of Indianapolis and Alicia (Cory) Wagoner of Plainfield, Step-daughters: Heather Clark of Camby, Hollie Clark of Brownsburg and Nikki (Michael) Tryon of Nashville, sister: Sandy (Donnie) Cannon of Morristown and grandchildren: Katie, Dylan, Bailey, Brooke, Chase, Madison, Adam, Lilly, Drew, Logan and Violet.

Father Eric Johnson will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial service at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 22nd at St. Agnes Catholic Church: 1009 McLary Road in Nashville. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown. Burial will follow at Lanam Ridge Cemetery in Brown County.
