Dawn M. (Dunham) Pritchett

Dawn M. (Dunham) Pritchett, age 52, passed away all too soon after a second battle with breast cancer on Wednesday afternoon, March 24, 2021 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis and a former resident of Brown County.

Dawn was born April 15, 1968, in Indianapolis to her parents William “Bill” L. and June M. (McClanahan) Dunham Sr. She was a 1986 graduate of Brown County High School. Dawn married Paul C. Pritchett on June 22, 1996 in Nashville. He survives after 24 loving years of marriage.

Dawn was an office manager for Dunham Plumbing in Nashville for over 23 years. In her free time, she loved camping, gardening, hiking and being outdoors. She loved all animals, especially her cats: Maximus, Oreo and Bus. She enjoyed attending St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She also enjoyed planning family get togethers at her home. Dawn will be remembered most for her contagious laugh and love of family.

She will be missed by her husband, Paul C. Pritchett of Indianapolis, parents: William “Bill’ and June Dunham Sr. of Nashville; brother: William “Billy” Dunham of Nashville; uncles: Keith J. Kirk of Nashville and Floyd G. (Cathy) Dunham of Indianapolis, as well as several cousins.

Dawn was preceded in death by her grandparents and aunt Kathy Kirk.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31st at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
