David Eisenmenger Obituary

David L. Eisenmenger, age 64, passed away Thursday evening, May 6, 2021 at his home in Greenwood.

David was born October 5, 1956 at Ft. Benjamin Harrison US Army Hospital in Indianapolis to his parents, the late Louis and Sue (Wilson) Eisenmenger. He attended Indian Creek High School and went on to serve as a Specialist 4 with the 155th Transportation Company of the United States Army.

David was retired from Pridgeon & Clay in Franklin, where he worked as a forklift operator. Prior to that he worked for KYB and Davidson Industries, both of Franklin. David enjoyed the outdoors by camping, fishing and working in his yard. He loved spending time with his family and playing darts with his brothers. David was a fan of NASCAR.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kimberly Ann (Vansickle) Eisenmenger, whom he married on January 15, 1999 in Louisville, Kentucky. David is also survived by his step-children, Amy Amburgy, Brandon (Lynsey) Smith and Adam Smith all of Greenwood; siblings, Gail Whitherington of Edinburgh, Larry Eisenmenger of Brown County, Johnny Eisenmenger of Nineveh, Danny Eisenmenger of Nineveh and Jerry Eisenmenger of Columbus; grandchildren, Callie, Karissa, Ava and Sawyer.

The Rev. Shan Rutherford will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Monday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery with military honors presented by the United States Army and the Brown County Honor Guard.
