David Gregory Barnett

David Gregory Barnett, age 50 of Nashville, passed away all too soon on Wednesday evening, September 22, 2021, from injuries sustained in a fatal car accident in Nashville.

David was born November 11, 1970 in Franklin to his parents Wesley and Marlene (Risley) Barnett. He was a 1989 graduate of Whiteland High School. David was employed at Mactac in Columbus as a Quality Lab Technician for the past 19 years. He married Dawn M. Seidle on January 1, 2004 in Greenwood and together raised their 4 children. She lovingly survives after 17 devoted years of marriage.

David was an active member of the New Life Community Church in Nashville and led the Men’s Fellowship Group and Men’s Bible Study. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors by hunting, fishing, camping and boating. David loved football and was an advocate and supporter of the Brown County football team and avid fan of the Carolina Panthers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and playing cards with his children. He will be remembered most for his love of family and unyielding faith in God.

David will be missed by his wife, Dawn Seidle-Barnett, mother: Marlene Barnett of Nashville children: Tracie (fiancé Casey Burdine) Seidle of Whiteland, Noah (fiancé Kathleen McCann) Seidle of Kansas City, Missouri, Wyatt Barnett and Brayden Barnett both of Nashville, grandchildren: Alexander & Lucas Seidle and Carter Burdine; as well as many close friends.     

He was preceded in death by his father Wesley and brother Christopher Barnett.

The Pastor Tim Conboy will conduct a funeral service on Monday, September 27th at 11 a.m. at New Life Community Church, 1450 N. State Road 135 in Nashville. Friends may call from 2:30.- 5:30 p.m. Sunday, September 26th at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith -Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
