Dale Allen Minear

Dale Allen Minear, age 64, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at his home in Trafalgar.

Dale was born April 3, 1958 in Lebanon to his parents the late James Allen and Barbara Ann (Dale) Minear. Dale married the love of his life, Rhonda Sue Newman on June 14, 1975. She lovingly survives. He was a 1976 graduate of Western Boone High School and went on to proudly serve his country as a Track Vehicle Mechanic for the United State Army. After the Army, Dale continued to serve with the Army National Guard.

Dale worked as an automotive mechanic his entire life. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors by fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He will be missed by his wife, Rhonda Minear; daughter, Jessica (Jason) Suttles; grandchildren, Seth Allen, Serenity (Jake), Danielle (Zach), and Izzy (Nathan); great grandson, Mylo; step siblings, Kevin Eugene (Dyla) Lawrence and Sheryl Ann (Gary) Crawford; mother in law, Donna Newman as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dale was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Amy Sue Minear; father James Allen Minear, mother, Barbara Ann Lawrence, brother, James Ora Lee Minear; step brother, Keith Allen Lawrence and father-in-law, Everett Newman.

Pastor Walter Fletcher will conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m. Friday Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Military rites will be presented by the United States Army and the Martinsville American Legion & Veterans of Foreign Wars.
