Crystal Sokolek Obituary

Crystal Ann Sokolek, age 38 passed away all too soon on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at The Waters of Batesville. She was a resident of Nineveh.

Crystal was born June 12, 1984 in Indianapolis. After high school, Crystal studied college at Ivy Tech. She worked at the IGA in Bean Blossom as a Clerk for several years. Crystal was an extensive crafter and a DIY hobbyist, and enjoyed upcycling furniture. She also enjoyed painting with acrylic, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children.

She will be missed by her companion, R. Joe Pugh Jr. of Brown County; child of heart, Ashley Pugh; son, Caius Pugh; mother, Dian Dusanic; father, Steve Sokolek; siblings, Alexandria Sokolek and Leah (Sean Kennedy) Sokolek both of Nineveh and Taylor (Ben Shadwick) Sokolek of Greenwood; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There are no services at this time. In keeping with her wishes, Crystal was laid to rest at Weeping Willow Cemetery in Brown County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
