Craig Allen Andrews Sr.

Craig Allen Andrews Sr., age 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, June 20, 2021 at his home in Franklin.

Craig was born March 5, 1955, in Mishawaka, to his parents, the late Frank Alvin and Iola Kay (Dillard) Andrews.  He attended Indian Creek High School and went on to serve in the United States Army. Craig married Linda Sue Tucker on November 7, 1975 in Morgantown.  She loving survives after 45 devoted years of marriage.

Craig retired in the 1980’s from the printing department for the Daily Journal in Franklin. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards and collecting conversational pieces that were unusual and unique. Craig enjoyed socializing and never met a stranger. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Craig will be missed by his wife, Linda Andrews of Franklin; sons: Craig Allen (Sheila) Andrews Jr. of Waverly and Frank Alvin (Margo) Andrews II of Edinburgh; grandchildren: Codie, Jason, Jacob, Zayne and Zayle Andrews, great grandchildren: Laylah Andrews and Ella Villareal; siblings: Harry (Diane) Gill and Garry L. Andrews both of Franklin, and Tommy Andrews of Paoli; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Kay Andrews, Ronnie Gill, and Jr. Andrews.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
