Christopher A. ‘Chris’ Hollett, age 38 passed away all too soon on Saturday morning, July 30, 2022. He was a resident of Brown County and most recently spent the last six years living with his brother in Vancouver, Washington.
Chris was born December 23, 1983 in Indianapolis. He attended Indian Creek High School. Chris worked as a Tree Trimmer and enjoyed reading sci-fiction books, watching movies and taking walks in the woods. He also enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding and racing BMX Bikes. Chris was an avid Colts fan and he will live on with giving the gift of life by being a tissue donor.
He is survived by his mother, Connie ‘Cricket’ (Doug Elkins) Hollett of Brown County; father, Gary Hollett of Morgantown; daughter, Ema Grace Hollett of Franklin; brothers, Mathew Hollett of Martinsville, Michael Hollett of Brown County and Jay (Roya) Hollett of Vancouver, Washington; fiancée, Nikia Perry and her son, Jaiden Means; and a niece, Maevee Flora Hollett of Unionville.
Chris was preceded in death by a sister, Heather Nicole McWhorter.
A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held at a later date with inurnment at Bear Creek Cemetery in Brown County. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
