Christina Beaver Obituary

Christina A. “Tina” (Glowner) Beaver, age 66, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday morning, January 27, 2021 at her home in Brown County.

Tina was born December 12, 1954, in Indianapolis, to her parents the late Chris V. and Mary Lou (Lawson) Glowner. She was a 1973 graduate of Brown County High School and married the love of her life, Charles L. Beaver on June 1, 1973 in Brown County.  He survives after 47 devoted years of marriage.

Tina worked for Hills Department Store in Bloomington for 18 years. She also worked for the Seasons Lodge in Nashville for 8 years as an evening auditor.  She enjoyed sewing and most recently made masks for friends, family and anyone else who needed one. Tina was always thinking of others and kept friends and family in mind, especially when it came to finding a good bargain, which put a smile on her face. She enjoyed vacationing with her sisters, spending time with her family and loved taking care of her dogs Foxie and Seymour.

She will be missed by her husband Charles of Brown County, children: Kathy Clemins and Amanda Beaver both of Brown County, step children: Katrina Murray of Indianapolis, Kevin (Melanie) Beaver of West Terre Haute, siblings: Nancy Schmidt of Nashville, Marsha (John) Parker of Ellettsville and Arthur “Chipper” Glowner of Bloomington; grandchildren: Alicia Clemins, Anthony Clemins, Kenneth Baker, Ashley Baker, Brett (Sarah) Cline, KéSean Wirth, and Corbin Beaver; 8 great grandchildren with one on the way as well as several nieces and nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents and three nephews.

In keeping with Tina’s wishes she will be cremated with a private graveside service held at a later date at Duncan Cemetery in Brown County. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
