Charles "Bud" Warren Sattler

Charles “Bud” Warren Sattler, age 78 passed away Monday morning, October 11, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was a resident of Nashville.

Charlie was born September 3, 1943, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to his parents, the late Charles E. and Bernice Marie (Cox) Sattler.  He was a 1963 graduate of Brown County High School. Charlie worked as a Tester on the assembly line at RCA Bloomington for 35 years until they closed their doors in 1999.

Charlie was a former member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, visiting with people and attending car shows. He also enjoyed watching Western, action and karate movies. Family was important to Charlie and he loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews. Charlie attended the RCA Christmas party every year and always brought his nieces and nephews along with him to enjoy the fun. Charlie will be remembered most for his love of animals, willingness to always help others and his kind and generous nature.

He will be missed by his siblings Sue Ellen (Jack) Bunch of Greenbriar Lake and Glenn (Joy) Sattler of Brown County as well as several nieces and nephews.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated with a graveside inurnment to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 29th at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
