Catherine Hall

Catherine (Hatfield) Hall, age 84, passed away Sunday evening, June 24, 2018 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Trafalgar.

Catherine was born on November 15, 1933, in Liberty, Kentucky, to the late Marvin R. and Edna Marie (Pemberton) Hatfield. She attended school in Casey County, Kentucky and went on to marry Hubert H. Hall on October 18, 1950 in Liberty, Kentucky. He lovingly survives after 67 devoted years of marriage.

Catherine is also survived by her children, Linda Park of Franklin, Brenda Arzzi of Green County, Kentucky, Roger (Judy) Hall of Trafalgar, Susan Gearlds of Edinburgh, Rita Wagers of Trafalgar, Rick Hall of Trafalgar and siblings, Eulah (Eardean) Weddle of Liberty, KY and Carol (Bobby) Hodge of Seymour; 15 grandchildren, which she helped raise and 25 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Alene Hogue, Lois Lanham, Doris Hickman, Harold, Jack & Paul Hatfield; and two great grandchildren.

Catherine was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, working in her flower gardens and bird watching. Catherine will be remembered for her excellent cooking and baking, especially her chicken'n'dumplings and homemade biscuits. She most recently was introduced to Facebook and enjoyed viewing photographs of the family and reconnecting with family friends.

The Rev. Johnny Perkins will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
