Bonita K. (Swearingen) James, age 64, passed away all too soon Monday afternoon, January 11, 2021 at her home in Brown County
She was born January 19, 1956, in Wauseon, Ohio and graduated from high school in Alaska in 1974. She married Ron Joe Pugh Sr. on June 25, 1977 in Ohio. He preceded in her in death on September 15, 2016.
Bonita was a loving mother and homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, but most recently enjoyed cross stitching and junk journaling. In her free time, Bonita also enjoyed reading non-fiction novels.
She will be missed by her children: Joe (Crystal) Pugh of Brown County, Tabitha (Wayne Blevins) Davis of Franklin and Harold Pugh of Napoleon, Ohio; grandchildren: Corbin Davis, Ashley Pugh, Kiara Davis, Caius Pugh and Ryker Blevins; siblings: D.J. Swearingen of Alaska, Donia (Sam) Key of Kansas, Lee Powers of Ohio, Kim Powers and Tracy Powers both of Colorado.
Bonita was preceded in death by her husband Ron, father: Donald Swearingen, mother Dolores “Dee” (Fredee) Hendricks and a grandson: Connor Pugh.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
