Billy Eugene Emberton

Billy Eugene Emberton, age 67 passed away Monday, September 12, 2022.  He was a resident of Brown County.

Billy was born September 6, 1955, in Franklin, to his parents, the late Richard Eugene and Patricia Ann (Scrougham) Emberton.  He was a graduate of Indian Creek High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator for IUOE Local 103 in Indianapolis.

Billy loved trucks and was known as an excellent mechanic and heavy equipment operator. He will be remembered most for being a caring, kind hearted man with a giving heart.

He will be missed by his children: Shawn (Sherry) Emberton, Samantha Gay; siblings: Gary Emberton and Gregory Emberton; grandchildren: Cendan, Rowan & Merlynn as well as several nieces and nephews.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kimberly Haggard. 

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 1st at the Gospel Lighthouse in Morgantown. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
