Beverly A. (Pitman) Bauman - Price

Beverly A. (Pitman) Bauman - Price, age 83 passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon, May 5, 2023 at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. She was a resident of Morgantown.

Beverly was born May 20, 1939 in Ellettsville, to her parents, the late Estill and Bannie (Huff) Pitman. She was a 1958 graduate of Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death on October 10, 1994 by her loving husband of 36 years, David L. Bauman, whom she married February 24, 1958 in Indianapolis. Beverly later married Linzie Price on April 23, 2005 in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2016. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Edwards; stepson, Kevin Price; and grandchildren, Jason Richardson & Miranda Law.

Beverly is survived by her children, Diana (Glen) Law, Pamela (Jim) Mitchell & Lisa (Mark) Phillips all of Morgantown; stepdaughter, Lisa (Sandy Wheeler) Price of Kokomo; grandchildren, Amanda (Ben) Sisson, Chris (Bailee) Law, Katie (Eric) Cunningham, Kathryn Phillips & Sara (James) Rasmussen; great grandchildren, Darby, Rory & Trent Sisson, Lucy Cunningham, Charlie Rasmussen & Mason Law.

She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Trafalgar, where she participated in the choir. Beverly enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, quilting and embroidering. Beverly also enjoyed tending to her garden, canning, singing and dancing. She was a fan of watching old westerns on television. Beverly will be remembered for her excellent cooking & baking, especially her chocolate pie and brownies.

The Rev. Jeff Hopson will conduct a funeral service on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
