Barbara Jean (Dailey) Husk

Barbara Jean (Dailey) Husk, age 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, March 14, 2023 at her home in Greenwood.

Barbara was born November 12, 1956 in Indianapolis, to her parents, Robert “Bob” L.  and Thelma “Jean” (Parsley) Dailey. She was a 1974 graduate of Southport High School and later earned an Associate Degree.

Barbara began her career in clerical work for Farm Bureau and later for the State of Indiana. She was also the secretary for Mayor Hudnet and later took a clerical position with Hudson Institute and for Kroger in their business offices.

Barbara enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR, with #24 Jeff Gordon being her favorite driver. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

She will be missed by her father, Robert “Bob” Dailey of Morgantown; brothers, Gary Lee Dailey of Los Angeles, and Larry Wayne Dailey of Greenwood as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Dailey.

Rev. Mary Cartwright will conduct a funeral service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22nd at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
