Angela D. (Corbin) Watson

Angela D. ‘Angel’ (Corbin) Watson, age 60 passed away all too soon on Monday morning, May 17, 2021 at her home in Brown County.

She was born on November 17, 1960 in Heltonville, to her parents, Donald and Judith (Winegar) Corbin. Angel attended Bedford North Lawrence High School and went on to earn a degree in Automotive Service from Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis.

She most recently worked as a cafeteria worker for Indian Creek Schools, where she enjoyed being around the children and her co-workers. Prior to that, she worked as a manager for both Dollar General in Trafalgar and the Abe Martin Lodge in Nashville.

Angel was a member of the Church of the Lakes in Nineveh. She enjoyed making jewelry, sewing, quilting and decorating her home for Christmas. Angel was a fan of NASCAR with Mark Martin being her favorite driver. She will be remembered for her love of her close friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Angel is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Robert M. ‘Bob’ Watson, whom she married on June 9, 2003 in St. Paul. She is also survived by her mother, Judith Corbin of Heltonville; children, Justin (Linsey) Hilgemeier of Brownsburg and Burt (Melissa) Dickinson of Columbus; grandchildren, Chloe and Ella Hilgemeier, Ben, Ethan, Ryan and Triston Dickinson; sisters, Gina Zukas of Martinsville and Tammy (Scott) Todd of Heltonville.

Angel was preceded in death by her father, Donald Corbin; and sisters, Edie and Christy Corbin.

The Rev. Jon Lucas will conduct a funeral service on Friday at 7 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
