Amberly "Amber" Parr Obituary

Amberly N. “Amber’ Parr, age 32 passed away all too soon on Thursday evening, April 16, 2020. She was a resident of Anderson and a former resident of Nashville.          

Amber was born December 14, 1987 in Indianapolis. She attended Brown County High School until her senior year when she moved to Comanche, Oklahoma and graduated from Comanche High School in 2006.

While in high school, Amber was active in cheerleading and showed horses in 4-H and Junior Rodeo. She enjoyed participating with youth groups at both the Unity Baptist Church in Brown County and the Cornerstone Church in Trafalgar. Amber loved spending time with her family, especially her daughters, Faryn and Skyler.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Donnie and Lori Parr of Nashville; mother and step-father, Patty and Chuck Morgan of Comanche, OK; daughters, Faryn and Skyler Parr, both of Nashville; brother, Jesse (Whitney Russell) Parr of Nashville; grandparents, Donald & Glenna Parr Sr. of Morgantown, Raymond & Sylvia Ashley of Arcadia, FL and Ronald & Linda Smith of Nashville; aunts and uncles, Tim & Shellie Parr, Paul Smyth & Sindy Cunningham, Shawn and Karen Smyth.

Amberly was preceded in death by her sister, Ashley Leeann Parr on March 15, 2006; and a grandmother, Sonya Ashley.

The Rev. Lee Snider will conduct a private family graveside service at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery in Brown County. Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.

Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Amber to the Unity Baptist Church Youth Group, 7361 Spearsville Road, Morgantown, IN 46160.
