Mr. Melvin Swift Obituary

Melvin "Swifty" E. Swift, age 64 passed away Saturday evening, July 20, 2019 at The Waters of New Castle. He was a resident of Martinsville.

Melvin was born November 23, 1954, in Franklin to his parents, the late Paul E. and Ruth Mae (Moore) Swift. He was a 1972 graduate of Whiteland High School.

Melvin enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the race track in Paragon and Brownstown. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by many family and friends.

Melvin is preceded in death by his parents Paul E. Swift and Ruth Mae Craig.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
