Mr. Harry Schondel Obituary

Harry E. Schondel, age 80, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, June 14, 2019 at Life’s Journey of Avon. He was a resident of Indianapolis and former resident of Brown County.

Harry was born November 7, 1938, in Lodi, Ohio to his parents, the late Glenn and Lois (Mann) Schondel. Harry was a 1957 graduate of Northwestern High School in Ohio and went on to work in the Maintenance Department for Shorewood Printing for 44 years, retiring in 2001.

Harry enjoyed wood working and made lamps, tables and wagons for his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers and NASCAR.

Harry will be missed dearly by his wife, Judith K. (Hart) of Indianapolis, children: Douglas, Tammy and Sandy; step-children, Pam, Chuck and Teresa; siblings: David, Betty and Suzy; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ruth Ann and grandchildren Sean and Nikki.

In keeping with Harry's wishes, he will be cremated with no services to follow. Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
