Yetive M. (Bailey) Bain, age 83 passed away Friday morning, June 17, 2011 at the Hospice House in South Bend. She was a resident of LaPorte former resident of Trafalgar.

Yetive was born June 19, 1927 in Putman County to the late Roy and Mabel (Hart) Bailey. She married Ernest R. Bain on November 27, 1946 in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death after 51 loving years on April 22, 1998. She was a 1945 Graduate of Cloverdale High School.

Yetive was a loving mother and homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter: Deborah L. Meyer of La Porte and two sons: Eddie (wife, Pamela) Bain of Morgantown & Bruce (wife, Shirley) Bain of Greenwood. Yetive will be remembered by her five grandchildren: Tammy (Stan) Maddox, Keith (Jennifer) Bain, Carrie Henry, Katie (Bob) Symonds, Trica (Bry an) Tibbitts; and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister: Allene Yowell and two brothers: O.K. Bailey & Max Bailey.

The Rev. Tim Krupski will conduct a private family service on Monday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery Morgantown.
