Teddy John Sichting, age 59 passed away Monday,
February 6, 2012 at his residence in Morgantown surrounded by many
caring family members and friends.
He was born August 13, 1952, in
Martinsville, to Chester J. & Margaret L. (Hensley)
Sichting. Teddy was married to his wife Kitty (Baird)
Sichting whom he spent over 34 loving years with and she
survives.
He graduated from Indian Creek H.S. and went
on to become a Journeyman Plumber; working for over 35 years for
the following companies: Snuffy Smith Plumbing and Heating
inIndianapolis, JTB Corporation and L.D. Mechanical both in
Franklin. His memberships included The National Corvette Club
and the Morgantown Rural Volunteer Fire Dept. Teddy was an
avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan and he had a fascination with
cars. Teddy enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and
spending quality time with his children, grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
Teddy leaves behind his beloved
mother: Margaret L. Sichting of Trafalgar; and his caring
children: Mandi Lynn (husband, Charles) Brock of Morgantown:
Matthew John (wife, Felicia) Sichting of Morgantown, Gary (wife,
Mary) Hamilton of Franklin, Richard Hamilton of Morgantown, Kevin
Hamilton of Trafalgar and Mark (wife, Becca) Hamilton of
Elletsville. He will be missed by his two sisters:
Barbara (husband, Bob) Brummett of Martinsville & Anthea
(husband, Philip) Arnold of Trafalgar and three brothers:
Roger (wife, Brenda) Sichting of Morgantown, Tomas (wife, Libby)
Sichting of Martinsville & Tony (wife, Tina) Sichting of
Nineveh; 21 Grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, whom he
cherished deeply.
Teddy was preceded in death by his
father: Chester J. Sichting: brother: Merrill Sichting and
granddaughter: Morgan Elizabeth Hamilton.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at East
Hill Cemetery by Pastor Ron Sodrel at a later date.
