Sherman J. Patterson, age 55 passed away Friday morning, October
8, 2010 at his brother's home in Brown County. He was a resident of
Nashville.
Sherman was born June 15, 1955 in Franklin to the late Franklin C.
and Bertha L. (Bowling) Patterson.
He had been a plumber for Earl Gray & Sons in Bargersville
until his illness a year ago and his previous employer was J.T.B.
Contractors in
Franklin.
Sherman enjoyed all outdoor activities, fishing and playing pool.
He cherished his time spent with his family.
Sherman is survived by his two sons: Chad A. Phipps of Knightsville
& Michael S. Collins of Pendleton; wife: Cynthia A. Patterson
of Knightsville; one step-son: Timothy Roscoe Jr. of Knightsville;
step-daughter: Jessica Hayes (Chris) of Brazil; three brothers:
James E. (Nancy) Patterson of Greenwood, David W. (Shirley)
Patterson of Franklin & Donald E. (Chena) Patterson of
Nashville; five sisters: Ola Patterson of Nashville, Evie S. Adams
of Franklin, Patsy (Mickey) Derringer of Nineveh, Shirley L. (John)
Chittum of Clay City & Linda Patterson of Franklin. He will be
missed by his grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Sherman was preceded by one brother: Bruce Patterson.
